Art decks the halls, National History Day and Science projects grace the gym and the eighth-grade bake sale serves up the sweets at Resurrection Catholic School April 18, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. during an open house.
Principal Brenda Weaver said this is the third time this school year Resurrection has opened its doors to greet anyone seeking to know more about the school.
“We welcome those who believe we are called to serve God and others, and who are looking for a school for their children that includes a diverse student body and challenging academics,” said principal Brenda Weaver.
Beginning with kindergarten, Resurrection engages children in fun and creative lessons that balance learning with social interaction to prepare children for success in future grades.
During the Open House, science and history projects will be on display in the gym, and student art work will be featured throughout the school. Eighth grade students will have a bake sale, giving visitors a chance to talk to them and ask them questions.
