Resurrection students host the Stations of the Cross Fridays during Lent Feb. 16 to March 23 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church.
On Good Friday, March 30, at noon, the St. Anthony Youth Ministry presents “Stations of the Cross for Families,” a prayerful re-telling of the Passion.
A half-hour before Stations, music by parish and local musicians is offered for meditation and contemplation at 1 p.m., and 11:30 a.m. on Good Friday, as follows.
- Feb. 16: Eileen Laurence, organ, member of the Lancaster Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO).
- Feb. 23: Margaret Marsch, organ, Director of Music and Organist, Lancaster Church of the Brethren, member of the Lancaster Chapter, AGO.
- March 2: Mark Erb, piano (organist, St. Anthony of Padua) and Bob Grabowski, guitar (Director of Music, St. Anthony of Padua).
- March 9: Terry Heisey, organ, Director of Music and Organist, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Lebanon, PA; member and secretary of the Lancaster Chapter, AGO.
- March 16: Mark Erb, piano (organist, St. Anthony of Padua) and Bob Grabowski, guitar (Director of Music, St. Anthony of Padua).
- March 23: Glenn Lehman, organ, founder of the music preservation group “Harmonies.org;” organist, Neffsville Mennonite Church; member of the Lancaster Chapter, AGO.
- March 30 (Good Friday, 11:30 a.m.): Frances Veri, piano, and Dr. Michael Jamanis, violin, (Senior Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music – Violin, Franklin & Marshall College; String Instructor, Resurrection Catholic School).
