Resurrection Catholic School will host an Open House April 24, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. Included during the day are three assemblies called “Misunderstood Creatures” presented by the Lancaster County Environmental Center.
Parents seeking a private school for their children are invited to attend with their child, and current families are welcome to bring friends who may be interested in Resurrection. The assemblies are the same, so visitors may attend whichever is convenient or desirable. Sessions are at 9 a.m. for grades two, five and six, 9:40 a.m. for kindergarten grade one and grade four, and 10:20 a.m. for grades three, seven and eight.
Kindergarten at Resurrection engages children in fun and creative lessons that create a balance so children learn, socially interact and get what they need to prepare them for success in future grades. Upper grades challenge students academically and educate them in Catholic traditions and teachings.
Partial scholarships are available for those who need help with tuition and visitors are encouraged to ask about this.
