Resurrection Catholic School will host Happy Turkey Time, an open house for parents of upcoming kindergarten students, and for current RCS parents of children in kindergarten through third grade, Nov. 14, 6-7 p.m. at the school.

Parents of children thinking about kindergarten can meet families and students enrolled in the school and see their creative projects of the season. Resurrection strives to create a balance so children learn, socially interact and get what they need to prepare them for success in future grades.

“Anyone thinking about kindergarten for their children will want to attend to see the fun and creative lessons our students engage in every day,” said Principal Brenda Weaver. “Our primary grade teachers and families will be there sharing their creative Thanksgiving recipes and the paper turkeys they ‘dressed’ at home.”

Resurrection’s K-8 building offers a safe, yet disciplined environment where students from multi-cultural backgrounds share the opportunity to achieve in happy surroundings. Students are educated in the Catholic faith with daily religion classes, morning and dismissal prayers and weekly Masses.

Activities in the spirit of the season will be available for the children of guests. There also will be a drawing for a $50 Giant gift card. Call 717-392-3083 to RSVP.
